Olivier Christinat completed his photography education in his hometown. Since 1986 he lives here as a free photographer. From 1991 to 1996, he taught at the Lausanne University of the Arts, Department of Audiovisual Art. Olivier Christinat's portraits have the aura of icons. However, no saints but human beings are introduced to any environs, often unclothed as in the Garden of Eden.
